Luke Adam (18), Centreman for the Montreal Juniors and the team's second leading scorer is in hospital recovering after suffering a ruptured spleen during yesterday's game against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.

According to the team's press release: The Montreal Juniors would like to update the health status of Luke Adam.

He ruptured his spleen during Sunday’s game against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. After 2 hours on the operation table, Adam is feeling better. He will stay in the intensive care unit for the next 3 days and he will miss the next 6 to 8 weeks of the rest of the season.

Luke, recently drafted by the NHL's Buffalo Sabres had totalled 22 goals and 27 assists in 47 games so far this season and was a key element to the Juniors offense.

We at the Franchise wish Luke a most speedy recovery and a healthy return as soon as possible.
