Plekanec nets 2 as the Canadiens take out the Sabres in pre season hockey to win 3 to 2. This was a big win for the Habs who will be facing more pressure than usual this season. Expectations are always high for the winningest team in NHL history, but now they have most of the prognosticators also believing in their chances, and the pressure of winning it all to celebrate their 100th year. While a winning record may not be the most important goal during these exhibition games, a solid performance is important. Monday's 8 to 3 drubbing at the hands of arch-rival Boston has to be something that coach Guy Carbonneau will make sure does not happen again.
