Habs Dominate on Friday, Lose Saturday to Sens
After Friday's thrilling 5-0 performance in front of a packed house at the Bell Center, Montreal lost tonight 3-1. in terms of depth chart, young Cedric Desjardins has been turning quite a few heads, and has been outperforming free agent acquisition Marc Denis so far this preseason. That puts him number 3 behind Price and Halak, who appear to have their roles as starter and back up respectively, locked up. As for young Mathieu Carle, he is back home recovering from a concussion due to a brutal hit (which we posted on the website) earlier this week. We will be looking at the defense in at great length Sunday morning on The Franchise!
