Juniors Make Roster Changes

Written by Nick Murdocco. Posted in Blogs - Nick Murdocco

After releasing 20 year old David Foucher earlier today, the Montreal Juniors acquired defenseman David Stich, from the St John Sea Dogs to top up on the 20 year old category. Saint John, in return, get third round draft choice in 2010.

The 6’2”, 215 pound product of the Czech Republic put the juniors over in the number of European players allowed on the roster, so a decision had to be made between German Toni Ritter and Russian Evgeny Solomonov. In the end Solomonov was let go.

Stich is expected to be in uniform when the Montreal Juniors  face the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Wednesday October 14th at 7.35 p.m.
