(Quebec, Tuesday October 21, 2008) – As part of the 400 anniversary of the city of Quebec and to commemorate the biggest French Canadian rivalry the history of Quebec, Gillett Entertainment Group and the organization of the 400th is proud to present the Montreal Canadiens Alumni vs. the Nordiques Alumni. On Sunday, December 7 at the Colisée Pepsi, come relive the frenzy that marked the history of Quebec. This will be the perfect occasion for young fans to discover yesterday’s legends as the nostalgic get to see their idols such as Guy Lafleur, Michel Goulet, Larry Robinson and Alain Côté. Michel «Le Tigre» Bergeron and Jacques Demers will coach the teams during this historic game.
1$ from each ticket sold will be given to the Canadiens Alumni and Nordiques Alumni Foundation.
During this unique event, you will truly be able to relive all the great years of this rivalry as the game will feature play-by-play commentating by the Nordiques official commentator, Pierre Gingras. The mascots, Badaboum and Youppi! are also going to be there to cheer up the fans. Lastly, a one-hour special episode will air during the holidays on RDS with exclusive interviews and a game recap by former Nordiques commentator, André Côté.
