
CANADIENS REASSIGN MAX PACIORETTY AND KYLE CHIPCHURA TO THE HAMILTON BULLDOGS

MONTREAL (December 28, 2008) – The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forwards Max Pacioretty and Kyle Chipchura have been reassigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.
Pacioretty and Chipchura were recalled by the Canadiens on December 26.
In his first AHL season, Max Pacioretty is the team’s third leading scorer with 20 points (3 goals, 17 assists) in 26 games. The 20-year-old left-winger was a Canadiens first-round selection, 22nd overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Kyle Chipchura, 24, leads the Bulldogs with a plus-14 rating. The centreman and team captain scored 20 points (9 goals, 11 assist) in 23 AHL games this season. He was selected by the Canadiens in the first round (18th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs will face the Rochester Americans tonight at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton
