Only 5 players from the QMJHL were invited to try out for the Team Canada World Juniors roster and of those 5, the Montreal Juniors sent 2 representatives.

Angelo Esposito, who had been cut from Team Canada in his 3 previous attempts, tallied a goal and a few assists and impressed Pat Quinn and his associates enough to earn a spot on the defense-heavy team.

Jake Allen, a former Team Canada Champion, having won gold in Russia in the U-18's and being named goaltender of the competition was not so lucky this time around and in a position that was top heavy in talent, did not make the final cut.

TSN has you covered in an in depth article on the subject.

For more info on Team Canada, the roster as well as the schedule coming up this Boxing Day, refer to the Hockey Canada site for all the details
