Alouettes Lose 1, Trade 1

With only eight games left in the regular season, Avon Cobourne will be on the sidelines for the 2nd straight game as the Als travel to Calgary to take on the Stampeders. Cobourne is attempting to become the first player in CFL history to both run and catch for over 1000 yards each. With only 185 yards to go on the ground, Cobourne should have no problem reaching that mark, injured ankle or not. Avon still has over 500 yards inorder to attain the mark from the air, so he had better not just come back for game 12, but also have the support of his teammates as well.
In other news, the Alouettes made a trade with the lowly Ti-Cats and acquired a conditional draft pick for non-import defensive lineman Alain Kashama
