Alouettes announce Final Cuts for 2010 Season

The Montreal Alouettes made their final cuts today and essentially narrowed down to their official 46-man roster for the 2010 season. They play their first regular season game next Thursday in Saskatchewan in a 2009 Grey Cup championship rematch. 

As well, the team announced that they have acquired the Toronto Argonauts' fourth round pick in the 2011 CFL Canadian Draft in exchange for import receiver Chad Owens.

Owens joined the Alouettes' practice roster last July and played in the last game of the season in Toronto.


The final cuts:

23         Davis, Tanard*               DB

84         Boldin, D.J.*                   SB

The following players have been added to the one game injury list:

55         Seagraves, Skip*           T

83         Santiago, O.J.               SB

88         Morin-Soucy, Nickolas   DE

The following players have been added to the nine game injury list:

5          McPherson, Adrian*       QB

64         Bomben, Ryan               G


The following players have been added to the suspended list:

43         Conn, Justin                  LB

44         Ridgeway, Bryan           LB


The following players retired:

26         Ford, Tracy*                  RB

49         Earls, Shomari*             LB


The practice roster will be announced tomorrow.
