Alex Kovalev Named Captain for the Eastern Conference Team During All-Star Game in Montreal
Although Saku Koivu's return to the Montreal Canadiens' line-up last night essentially took the "C" away from acting captain Alex Kovalev, he gets to wear it one more time as the honor of captain for the Eastern Conference team was placed upon him for the upcoming All-star game here in Montreal. Joe Thornton of the San Jose Sharks was also named for the West.
