Another Late Goal Derails Impact, Minnesota Wins 1-0

Montreal Impact

The Montreal Impact seem to have issues with letting in goals in the last 15 minutes of regulation time. Minnesota Stars took advantage of that to score late, and earn 3 points over the Impact in Minnesota last night. This was not a great way to reward the fans who sold out Saputo Stadium for the first time this season, nor does it build momentum for Wednesday night's game against AC Milan. The Impact had a chance to take 1st place in the NASL division, but are now tied with Carolina for 2nd with 11 points. These two teams will meet each other 3 more times this season.
