The defending 2009 CFL Champion Montreal Alouettes started the 2010 season with arguably the toughest part of their schedule in their first 3 games. The Alouettes were only a bad 4th quarter away from starting the season undefeated in Saskatchewan, but then have gone on to win their next two games, including their first win in BC since Aug, 2000. SJ Green continued to impress, catching 8 passes for 107 yards, but it was Jerald Brown who stepped up big for his 2nd straight late game interception to help seal the deal for the Alouettes. Montreal wins the game 16-12, on the back of a solid performance of Avon Cobourne, who had 79 yards on the ground, and another 43 through the air. Key player of the game though was kicker Damon Duval, who hit 4 of 6 field goals, including what turned out was the game winner, even though it hit the post before taking a lucky bounce through the uprights.
