The Franchise had asked a few weeks ago which MMA promotion would be successful in acquiring the top Canadian free agent on the market. We know that several organizations where all bidding for the UFC veteran and international MMA star, but Warrior 1 stood out above the rest and inked the former SPIRIT MC champion.

Warrior One MMA (W-1) Signs Denis Kang to an Exclusive Multi-Fight Contract
Warrior One MMA (W-1) is excited to announce the signing of the number one ranked free agent in the world of mixed martial arts, Denis Kang.
With the signing of Kang, W-1 solidifies its position as the top Canadian MMA production and makes its mark as a global contender in the world of mixed martial arts.
Kang will be fighting in W-1’s next event, Bad Blood on March 20th, 2010 in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Kang’s opponent is to be determined and will be officially announced in the coming days.
Denis Kang is a world renowned mixed martial artist with a professional record of 32-11-1. A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kang is a well-rounded fighter known for his world class striking ability.
