It is no surprise to this writer that Montreal Alouettes kicker Damon Duval was named the CFL’s Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 7. After a great game the week before, going 5 for 5 against the Tigercats, including a 51 yarder, he managed to top that tally again this week. Not only did he manage to maintain his completion streak, going a career high 6 for 6, but he managed to also kick a career best 52 yard field goal in the process. read on for the official Alouettes press release

The Montreal Alouettes went into Vancouver Friday night wanting to accomplish something that they have not been able to do since Y2K; Beat the BC Lions on their own home turf. They'll have to wait until next year.
After a rather heartbreaking loss to Saskatchewan last week, the 2-2 Alouettes saw themselves playing another game where they were dominant in the 1st half and then let the opposition catch up and overtake them in the second, as was the case when they went head to head against the Roughriders.
